Terms of Service

1. What SportsBiff is

SportsBiff tracks the records of football tipsters and gives you dashboards for the teams and players you follow. We are not a bookmaker, betting exchange or gambling operator: we do not take bets, hold money for betting or arrange bets for anyone. Everything on SportsBiff is information. Nothing on it is betting or financial advice, and a tipster's past results are no promise of future ones. Any decision to bet is yours alone.

2. Who can use SportsBiff

You must be 18 or over, or the legal gambling age where you live if that is higher. By creating an account you confirm that you are. We close accounts that belong to anyone under that age.

3. Your account

Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens on your account, and you must tell us straight away if you think someone else is using it. An account is for one person; don't share, sell or transfer it. The details you give us, including your date of birth, must be true.

4. Tipster records

• Tips are taken from tipsters' public Telegram posts, with the time each was posted, and settled automatically against official results. Mistakes can happen; when we find one we correct the record.
• Some profiles are demonstrations and are labelled Demo. Their tips are examples, not posts from a Telegram channel, and they cannot be subscribed to.
• Tipsters can pay for a Featured placement in the Biffs directory on our website. Featured placements are promotion, labelled "Promoted placements", and never change the leaderboard, whose rankings are not for sale.
• Tipsters' posts are their own opinions. We do not endorse them.

5. Subscriptions and SportsBiff Pro

• You can buy only on our website. The SportsBiff app is free and sells nothing. Subscriptions to tipsters and SportsBiff Pro are available only on our website, and payments are handled by Stripe.
• Subscriptions to tipsters unlock that tipster's tips. They are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you subscribe, and renew automatically until you cancel.
• SportsBiff Pro adds features listed on our website, including Ask SportsBiff. It is billed and renews in the same way.
• Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in Manage Subscriptions, in the app or on the website. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not refund part of a billing period unless the law requires it.
• Deleting your account cancels every subscription and SportsBiff Pro immediately, with no refund for the rest of the current period. How to delete your account explains what we keep.
• Price changes apply only to new subscriptions. Your existing subscription keeps its price for as long as it renews.
• Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

6. Ask SportsBiff

Ask SportsBiff, our AI assistant on the website, answers from the sports data we hold. Its answers can be wrong or incomplete, and they are never betting advice. It has daily and monthly limits, shown in your account.

7. For tipsters

• SportsBiff keeps 20% of the price of every subscription sold on SportsBiff, and the tipster receives the rest. Payouts are made through Stripe once you have completed Stripe's onboarding and payouts are switched on for your account.
• We never charge the subscribers you already have elsewhere.
• Post honestly and in good faith. Back-dating tips, posting after kick-off, or anything else that games your record leads to suspension. We check every tip's timing independently and may void a tip posted after its match started.
• You keep ownership of your tips and give SportsBiff a licence to display, analyse and settle them. We remove links, Telegram handles and promo codes from tips shown to members.

8. Things you must not do

Don't impersonate anyone; post false or misleading tips; try to manipulate records or rankings; scrape, copy or resell SportsBiff's data without our written permission; interfere with or try to break into the service; or use SportsBiff against the law.

9. Our content

SportsBiff's design, code, statistics and other content belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal use of SportsBiff; anything else needs our written permission.

10. Our responsibility to you

We work to keep SportsBiff accurate and available, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will be error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from acting on tipster information, including betting losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending your use of SportsBiff

You can delete your account at any time in Account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. What happens to your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top. If a change matters to you, we will tell you by email or in SportsBiff before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep the protections your local law gives consumers.
